I'm looking for a 4 cylinder luxury car.?

Faye

I have a E350 Mercedes now. I would like better gas mileage, but don't want to sacrifice luxury. What is out there?

Answer
Kojak is way off, the ES is rated at 19/27, not 27/35

The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid gets 41 city, 36 highway:

Or you can stick to your E class but get the diesel. Much more expensive of course, but a nice car if you can afford it:

EDIT - to Q - Nobody makes a V4 car engine for many decades now. Lexus DOES however have cars with four cylinders (inline fours), the CT and HS hybrids. Both are smaller and less comfortable than the MKZ though.

First car suggestions (e.g. VW Jetta)?

I am looking for a car to buy, but I would like some suggestions from the educated people of the internet.
I am seventeen years old, male, and I've been driving for twelve months.
I drive better, safer, and more intelligently than most drivers on the road; I would like a car to match my abilities while staying in my price range.
I would like to find a car within a price range of $5,000-$11,000.
I need to have a four-door Sedan which should have less than 75,000 miles and comes from a good manufacturer.
Something similar to a VW Jetta, Volvo S40, Ford Fusion, or Audi A4, used of course.

Thanks for the suggestions, and if you could post the actual car link with the car suggestion near area code 33445, that would be great.
Thanks for the ideas!

Answer
In terms of safety a Volvo is going to be your best bet. There's not much out there that is safer. But if you want something a little more fun I would chose the Audi A4. I'm 16 and I have and Audi A4. I love it! They can be expensive, but not if you actually look more than one place. A VW Jetta would also be nice. VW is the line under Audi in terms of luxury. Both very nice and safe German cars. In my opinion, I would take the Ford out of consideration. They tend to have a lot of problems as do many American made cars. Go for the Audi if you can find one you want for a good price. You really should have no problem finding one under $11,000. If you decide you don't want the Audi, go for the VW. Very nice cars and they are going to last. Good luck!

Here are a few links to Jetta's and Audi's!
