Dmazillion

I have a 2003 Toyota 4runner that will be paid off in three months. I'd like to trade it in and lease a luxury car. Would the value of my car be deducted from the lease payments or the money do at signing? How does this work?

Answer
yes you can trade in a car for a new car.
Leasing is just a form of purchasing/renting

When you lease a car, they can apply the trade value to the amount of the car.

Due at signing is just a term of the lease... it's up to the dealer to apply that to the due at signing or apply it towards the principal of the loan and adjust your monthly payments accordingly.

Keep in mind, when leasing a car, you pay tax on the car at signing as though you are purchasing it, and then you also pay tax on the interest of every payment that you make.... so it's a more expensive option than buying a car outright. It just looks attractive because a dealer is selling you half of a car...

Also look at the terms to make sure that you will fall within the expected Mileage allowance of the lease terms, going over can be very costly. If you like having freedom with your car and using it how you see fit, then leasing might not be a good option for you.

What is the best used luxury car to buy?

I want the best of luxury, gas mileage and dependability. What kind of luxury car could I buy for around the $6,000-$10,000 range?

Answer
Lexus is the best, but with something like Acura or Infiniti you will be able to buy something newwer with lower miles because their value drops alot faster then Lexus which is good for people like you that are buying used.

Ive always wanted one and someday i plan on getting one i dont know how but yuah i will though. Is 15000 $ alot to spend on a second car?if so what are some chreaper sports cars that have similar traits to the toyota supra?

Answer
The Supra is a great ride and well worth the money in respect of what you get from a car,i know there are modern cars out there cheaper but you are paying for a great tuning platform which will happily see silly high bhp figures and not and silly money to get there, also the car stil looks modern as i guess you are talking about the mk4 versions.

Prices are still high in its TT form but really dropped in its na form, although both are really good and both are great rides.

Prices alter country by country but overall they still are fetching really good money.

Planning Trip to Switzerland in August?

luxury cars zurich on Luxury call girls hook rich clients in
luxury cars zurich image

Reference-

Hi,

I stay in India and wish to travel to Switzerland in the month of August for around 15 days. We are a couple with a small 11 month old kid.

- Should we opt for a packaged group tour or make the trip on our own? Some people said to be on our own as group tour would be very hectic and the baby would find it very difficult to adjust those timings.

Having said that, does anyone have any suggestions for a great itinerary?
- Should we stay in hotels or in apartment?
- Should we hire a rental car or use public transport?
- Is the country safe?
- If you compare Switzerland with New Zealand, which one would you prefer?
- Since I have no idea about the tariff range, what sort of a range should I opt for? I prefer staying luxury.

Please provide me some tips.

Answer
- Consider that Switzerland is really small: if you traveled by train between any two cities, it wouldn't take more than 5 hours. This means that it's easy to move around, and do so on a short notice, you don't need to have a tour operator organize it for you. And if you set your own pace, it will be better for your baby, as you pointed out. So my advice is: go on your own.

-Hotels. Apartments are mostly rented in weeks, this would mean you'd be stuck in the same place for one week. Plus, hotels are much easier to find and usually of a good standard. If you plan on moving around, you will find it a lot easier to find a hotel anywhere you go.

-Public transport is well developed. It is quite expensive though if you just buy a ticket at a time. I don't know the details, but I think that for tourists there are one-week passes on basically all public transport in Switzerlad. Check out this site
http://travel.sbb.ch/
Renting a car is of course possible, and would give more freedom in terms of mobility. I suppose you'll have to do your own research to find out which one is more worth it, car or public transport.

-Yes, it's safe. Not 100% safe of course, but you can drive and walk around without fear.

-I'm swiss and I've been to New Zealand twice. I love NZ, probably because it's similar enough to Switzerland (in the way of living), but has things we don't have here: open spaces, more varied climate, the ocean. For a 2 week holiday, Switzerland has an advantage: it's a lot smaller. 2 weeks are enough to at least see pretty much all of it.

-Switzerland is pretty expensive. If you prefer luxury be prepared to pay for it. I can't really give you any price range.

And a few tips.
All cities are smallish. The largest by population is Zurich, with roughly half a million people. All other are half of that or less. Bern is worth seeing, the old town is beautifully preserved. Sankt Gallen has beautiful cathedral, also worth a visit.

Between the 6th and 16th of August, an international film festival is held in Locarno. During that time the city is buzzing with activity. Locarno would be worth a visit anyway, it's in Ticino, the italian speaking part south of the Alps and bordering Italy. I would suggest to spend at least 2-3 days in Ticino, if you do it during the festival, that would be a plus.

Most of Switzerland is covered with mountains. A few of them have become a touristic attraction. The Jungfrau, Eiger and Mönch, in the Interlaken area, are definitely worth seeing.

Ok, one last thought: if I were you I would go on my own, with only the first few days already organized. I suppose you will be arriving by plane in Zurich. You could plan on staying a couple of days there, then were to go for the next few days, and then see on a day to day basis. Like I said Switzerland is small, if you don't like a place in the morning you can go to another one in the afternoon.

In any case, enjoy your holiday :)

Are cars cheaper on mainland America?

Jason Sant

I live in Honolulu, HI and since everything is imported here, stuff is more expensive. As far as prices I know groceries can run up to a dollar more than prices on the west coast. I was wondering if luxury cars are cheaper there. I was looking at craigslist and comparing prices of some of the same cars. Some dealers in Seattle were selling there cars a few thousands of dollars cheaper than Hawaii price but some dealers were selling it for a few thousands more.
@ Beachgirl: I plan to live there.

Answer
Yes, you can get luxury cars cheaper on the Mainland but if you want to bring it over to Honolulu it's going to cost over $1000 for shipping. (plus any $ you spent going over to the Mainland to check it out, test drive, etc)

Where can i obtain a credit card with an unlimited spending limit?

kieran0976

Ideally for High street and Online shopping where i can buy stuff without having to worry about going over the limit , even cars and luxury holidays too!
First thing i would get would be an iPhone 4 on pay as you go, a 60" full HD 3DTV. A luxury holiday in hawaii .

Answer
There are many, many cards like this.
Brokerages usually issue them, but companies like Cap One, Discover, and Citi also offer them you just have to call and ask.
The problem - you have to have pretty amazing credit...

How do you know if your depressed?

sports cars quizzes on Logo Quiz answers level 4 - Games-Answers.com
sports cars quizzes image

Nellie

Lately if been feeling sad, lonely, tierd, and depressed. 6 months ago I lost a friend that got hit by a car, then I lost a really close friend. A friend that I used to tell everything. She left me. To be by myself. I'm getting bullied for being overweight. Then I started to self harm. Nobody knows anything. I've tried quizzes online to see if you're depressed, but I want to know for real.

Thank you.

Answer
Don't even touch those online quizzes, they're trying to make you doubt your mental state. Depression isn't just sadness. Depression is not even finding it in yourself to get up out of bed in the morning, or afternoon. A general feeling of apathy is felt with victims of depression. It's similar to being "bored", but even with boredom, you'd be up to try something fun. Depression swallows you whole and wants to drag you down and stay down. You don't want to do a n y t h i n g .

Severe events can lead to depression, for example the loss of a loved one, or a dramatic drop of things, like losing your job, then your house, then custody of your kids, etc. It's not something to be taken lightly. Depression needs care, but nothing pushy. You may not be depressed. Bullying is a serious matter, but those bullies won't criticize you forever. Find something to immerse yourself in: perhaps school activities like sports or show choir or academic team. Or, just staying around your house with a friend or at a shop.

Feeding the depression, try to be around people. If you feel nothing is helping, your sadness may be developing into something greater. Confide in a loved one or someone you trust, even a school counselor (if you ARE a teenager, I think you are).

Be careful. I'm sorry for all you're going through, but there's a safe way out of this. Give it a bit of time.
:)

You are in charge of all marketing activities in North America for the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer?

abhuskey

Maserati. Maserati has just introduced a new model that will be competing directly against some other well-known luxury sports cars such as Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, and the BMW Z8.

How would you positioning strategy for the new Maserati model? What would you do to support and establish this positioning strategy? Keep in mind that although Maserati is as good as its competitors in terms of the car performance and design, it is a small company and it does not have the same amount of money for heavy promotions as its competitors.

Answer
It sounds like you are working on a business school case.

I would position Maserati as different, more elite than the competition. I would make it a scarce resource, with initially a long waiting list to get one. At the same time pricing is going to be comparable (within 10%) of the direct competitors.

You may want to create a specific image (possibly European) and focus on specific demographics, and create a promotional strategy that uses multiple media to introduce the concept. You may want to place the product in some select movies and maybe do what BMW did a few years ago, hiring well known directors to create a short starring the car. In this case you may want to use European directors or people (like Scorzese) who are viewed as Europeans.

A less expensive strategy might be to give a car to selected celebrities and makes sure there is PR coverage on them. Also YouTube may be an interesting promotional challenge.

I hope this is helpful and gives you some ideas.

I am 16 years old and I am am looking for a cool car. A stick shift would be pretty cool to to have but but I am ok with automatic too. I would preferably like to have a car also under 100,000 miles. I AM NOT ALOUD TO GET A SPORTS CAR! What can I get?

Answer
Well, if you don't want a sports car, then you should look at the basics. Try a 2005 and up Mazda 3, 2000 and up Toyota Camry, or even a nice 2004 + up Honda Accord. My pick is the 2007 Hyundai Sonata, because it has a V6, good fuel- efficeincy, and it's in your price range.

What are some luxury cars? Stuff about cars in general?

luxury cars 2011 on India Cars | Luxury Cars | Smuggler | GlobalPost
luxury cars 2011 image

Zeze3

Considering that I will driving in a couple of years, I've decided i want to know as much about cars as I possibly can. From different types and models to different parts. I've decided to start with car brands and luxury cars, and what makes them luxury. I can name a few brands, like porsches, corvettes, and ferraris, but that's about it. Can anyone tell me other luxury cars, and give me a couple of good sites about cars?? I truly appreciate it.

Answer
The "Top 5" commonly distributed Luxury vehicles for the US market include brands such as Lexus, Infiniti, BMW, Audi and Mercedes Benz, however there are plenty more "luxury brands" that compete in the luxury market which include manufacturers such as, Cadillac, Jaguar-Landrover, Porsche, Volvo, Lincoln and Acura which all fall under the "10 Best-Selling Luxury Auto Brands in America". Some of the cars you have listed below are not luxury brands although some do cary MSRP pricing similar to the prices of a luxury vehicle such as the Chevrolet Corvette. Although the Corvette does have a starting price of $48,950 it is not a luxury vehicle, it is intended to be a Sport Performance Coupe. Usually most of the popular entry class luxury vehicles in America start at around $30,000 which consist of cars like the 2011 Lexus IS, or 2011 Audi A4 while prices can quickly inflate to thousands of dollars for a luxury vehicle which can consist of larger sedans or SUVs such as the Mercedes S-class which has a starting price of $91,000 while a Mercedes G-class starts at $105,750. Personally my top two favorite upscale brands in the luxury market are BMW and Infiniti, im all about Luxury and Performance and BMW and Infiniti surley offer that, they also appeal to a younger demographic while brands such as Lexus and Mercedes Benz appeal to an older demograhpic, they offer luxury & comfort more then they do performance.
Here are some sites you should take a look at.

How much would a 2008 BMW 1 Series i28 coupe cost in 2011?

Jane

My 14 yr old daughter wants a car and i thought a used luxury car would be good for her. I do not want to pay more than $23,000.

Answer
When your daughter is 16 you will be able to find a 128i for less that $23,000.00. Make sure you buy from a BMW dealer. The cars will be comming off lease at that point, and the BMW dealers will have certified pre-owned cars with a 6 year 100,000 mile warranty.

If you let your daughter buy a $1000.00 junker with her own money, it will not be safe or reliable. If something ever happened to your daughter you would never forgive yourself.

Don't listen to those other bozo's
