Why are so many people hating on the new Toyota Camry?

epicdrizzl

I hear pros and cons on this car, why do people some people like it while others say it's a bad model this year? The V6 SE model is pretty sick in my opinion, but still there are many haters and prefer american cars, but american cars have been known to be lemons, so what's better, a japenese car or an american brand?

Answer
Japanese cars are still better by a decent margin but it has been closing over the last 5-6 years. It used to be wide enough to swim in so domestic cars have improved. The haters that prefer American are usually people with their heads stuck in the 50s and 60s. Those are people that know that there is better out there or are to proud to admit it. I agree with the American cars being lemons, but the new V6 Camry is having some tranny issues from what I've been told. Still it is a solid, well made car being introduced with a new design. First year cars are always a risk. However the haters hate them because no car has been able to penetrate Camry sales since 1997. That ticks off poor sport Americans. Yeah, I'm guilty of it at times also, but the truth still remains that the Camry has been #1 for a reason. It's not the bland styling or boring driving experience. It's the reliability/ practicality factor. How many cars can go past 300K miles relatively trouble-free? Very few, but this isn't uncommon for Camrys. You can abuse it and neglect some maintenance and still get 200K miles. Oh and to the haters, Camrys are all-Amercan except for the name. Everything on it is made in America. Seats, door panels, engines, dashboards etc. are all made by us and assembled by us. The difference is the higher level of quality control Japanese brand cars are required to go through in comparison to American brands. Even Japan imports the Camry from the U.S.

Mazda FD RX7 and Nissan Skyline R32 which one faster? What is the different between this two car?

clementcho

Now for the secong hand car for this two car is about how much? how much is the petrol for 1km?

Answer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_RX-7

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_skyline

Iam sure someone will have an answer but tobe honest its a wide questions as different models where made and
differences fore some countries.
So which models really as there is the different rx7 and different Skyline R32 models gts gts-t GTR single cam twin cam single and twin turbo versions.
Speed wise they should be the same really as the GTR version. But really its hard to tell as book wise its close to the GTS-T version also.
This comes down to the agreement in Japan as the cars are restricted then they shouldnt be allowed to produce over 300bhp.So on the books many many Japanese sports cars look slow.they they often left the factory with a lot more bhp then they should have. And as they shipped cars worldwide and wanted to keep the hardcore fans happy they made the engines tuneable to its real limits.
I cant answer for the rx7 but iam sure the skyline and the rx7 run around the same i always get around 17-20 mpg urban if that helps.
Price wise depends where you are and what mods you have to do for your state as some want more than others the links are ones for sale or who sells them..

How can I like a girl for more than sex when I have nothing in common with girls?

Turd

They can't play sports (even the so called athletes are really bad...and they are few and far between, plus most aren't cute)

They aren't funny (sorry but its true. I rarely meet girls that are funny or tell interesting stories. If they are funny and cool then they're usually on drugs, drunk, or not attractive at all)

They are not chill (A fun day with my boys we will play pool, throw the football around, hit the beach, smoke, drink, talk about hot girls, talk about sports, cars, play video games, hit the gym)

Girls make everything a project. First of all it takes most girls forever to get ready. Then they can't play sports because they don't like it or they aren't dressed for it. I can't talk about other hot girls cause then she gets pissed. They suck at pool, basketball, video games. Can't throw a football.

All girls do well is they know how to shop, they are book smart, and they are sexy.

So wanting them for sex seems like the only thing to do with them. I wish I could meet a chill girl, likes sports, likes video games, wants to have sex all the time, decently pretty, nice boobs/ass, talks about other hot girls to have threesome with. Etc, Do girls like that exist?

Answer
First and foremost, I'm a 27-year old designer, writer, metalhead, loner from Pittsburgh, PA, USA. I like dark things (blackened death metal, horror/exploitation movies, obscenity, voyeurism, transgressive culture, etc.) as I'm extreme and campy like that. In my daily intercourse I tend to cuss the paint off the walls. I'm creative and mature and speak my mind but sometimes can really lack a sense of humor I'm so shy, serious and in my head all the time. Given my sedentary way of life, I think my sex appeal couldn't be lower.

I think it's because of all this that I've never related meaningfully to girls/women. I get along with most men no problem, but when it comes to the opposite sex, I feel entirely judged, misunderstood, rejected, and shunned. Granted, at times I've provoked rejection by purposely rebelling but most of the time I am just myself and it attracts no women, usually repels them. This all bothers me immensely, as I'm not only frustrated sexually but also psychologically.

What is the coolest sports car under 100k?

sports cars 100k on UK car just coming up to 100k. its got 10/11 months mot and 4/5 months ...
sports cars 100k image

Dr. Biz

This includes used ferraris, and brand new sports cars, dodge vipers, corvettes etc. Basically the question is if I had 100k what would be the best sports car to buy, and since there really is no where to use the full speed of a sports car it's basically the wow factor i'm interested in.

Answer
Saleen S302 Sterling Extreme comes right into your budget. It may be a 'Stang but Saleen definitely know how to tune their 'Stangs. Those Vipers and 'Vettes will be eating your dust on a racetrack. Also there is the Lotus Exige as others have stated but being a track car, even the air-con and floor mats are optional extras, and the semi-racing slicks would wear a s***-load quicker than normal tyres. They're also awkward to get in and out of. The Toyota VVT-i engine is a blast though. Steve Saleen has also made a new business tuning Dodge, his first one is the SMS 570 Challenger. You could also go for a BMW M6, Jaguar XKR, and a Porsche 911 Carrera. The possibilities are nearly endless.

Is there anything wrong with Infiniti G35 6MT?

luxury cars 7 seater on Audi Q7 luxury 7 seater car hire and cheap car rental | CarHireX.com
luxury cars 7 seater image
Q. I was looking a that vehicle online. Is there anything special that I should know about this vehicle? But I am considering more likely to purchase a used one. But I would like to know like if they are piece of sh*t, what type of gas do they need? Stuff like that.

Answer
When last we drove the Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe, we liked it better than the Nissan 350Z, whose platform and general form it shares, and speculated that a manual transmission would be more suited to this grand tourer's sport-luxury mission in life. Having just stepped out of a G35 Sport Coupe with a slick six-speed manual gearbox, we can happily pronounce that hypothesis to be correct.

The G35 Sport Coupe appeared in 2003 as Infiniti's first coupe in over a decade. Based on a stretched 350Z chassis, the G35 Sport Coupe offered rear-wheel drive performance, eyecatching styling and room for four adults, provided that two of them were reasonably athletic. For 2005, Infiniti has upgraded the G35 Sport Coupe's interior and offers up healthy performance and handling improvements for sports-minded drivers in the form of the G35 6MT Coupe.

Considering the usually upright competition from BMW and Mercedes, the G35 6MT Coupe stands out with sleek, laid-back design. The broad, horizontal-bar grille and stacked headlamps are similar to that of the G35 sedan, but the body is low and stretched taut over 19" wheels. It's a great-looking car, with smooth sides and elegant wrapped taillights. The G35 6MT Coupe features a trunk instead of a liftgate, to keep noise down. On the safety front, side and side-curtain airbags are standard. A few new colors are added to the palette as well. Xenon headlamps, a sunroof and LED taillights are part of the package as well.

Inside, visibility is better than you'd expect, but not as good as that of the full coupes. Front-seat passengers are treated to a dash with a choice of rosewood or aluminum trim and comfortable seats with awkwardly-located adjustment controls. The 6MT Coupe adds drilled aluminum pedals and a sport steering wheel, which are also available with an upgraded suspension package. Rear-seat passengers get more leg room than they might expect, but not a lot of headroom. The high driveshaft tunnel makes the G35 6MT Coupe a four-seater only. Sound systems are now MP3 capable, and heated leather seats are standard. Infiniti also offers a navigation system with a retractable 7" display.

For 2005, there are more differences between the manual and automatic transmission-equipped G35s than before. 6MT models, equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, also get an 18-horse bump in power, to 298. The power boost comes courtesy of electronic exhaust valve timing and some structural changes to the block. The G35 6MT Coupe's 3.5 liter V6 is a powerful, smooth engine, one of the best out there, and the increased output is more than welcome. The transmission has wonderfully short, direct throws, and only the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) stability control system spoils the power when it jumps in to kill any wheelspin. Speed freaks with a few race classes under the belt will be happier with the VDC turned off. If you don't want to shift it yourself, the G35 Sport Coupe is also available with a five-speed automatic transmission.

The 6MT also features a Sport-Tuned suspension package, which enhances the aluminum-intensive multi-link suspension with larger wheels, a limited-slip differential and stiffer springs. The Sport-Tuned Suspension package is available on the automatic-equipped G35 Sport Coupe as well. Special "ripple control" shocks eliminate some of the harshness that's often found in sports couples. Handling is superb, with direct, immediate steering and excellent control through curves. We think the G35 6MT Coupe is a better real-world handler than the track-bred 350Z, at least in the Midwest where smooth freeways are a rarity. The G35 6MT' Coupe's longish wheelbase offers a ride that's less likely to be disturbed by a frost-shattered expansion joint. Infiniti's VDC is standard equipment.

With new colors and improved performance, the 2005 Infiniti G35 6MT Coupe is a strong entry in the growing "grand touring" segment. Pricing starts at $33,000. The automatic-equipped G35 Sport Coupe starts at $32,400.

Whats the fastest car I can buy for around $25,000? I was thinking Mustang gt, GTI, WRX, 350z, Lancer Evo?

Scott M

I live in the North East, so I'll have to drive in the snow. I'm probably going to be racing it so I'm also looking for reliability. Also, I'm not really into the two seaters its kinda inconvenient. Please post any suggestions.
Thank You In Advance -.-

Answer
With a budget of $25,000 you should be able to find a "fast" car with ease. The Mustang GT is a fast car but the 2005-2008 did not have the best handling with their primitive solid rear axle, which was later improved in the 2010 model to the point where is beat the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS in lateral grip. The 2005-2008 Ford Mustang GT offered a 0-60 time of 5.7 seconds which is fast but not comparable to the other cars you list. The GTI is hardly fast, a 7 sec 0-60 time is hardly a great time and a FWD and racing do not go together. The WRX offered stellar performance at an affordable cost. The 2009 Model gives a 0-60 time of 4.8 sec and is around your budget ($24,995). The critically acclaimed Symmetrical AWD will give you the needed grip and traction during hard cornering or snow driving. The Nissan 350z offers superb performance at the cost of 2 less seats, so that will not be viable for you however the big brother of the 350z, the G35 coupe, offers grade A performance with the VVEL VQ35 engine. The G35 will jump to 60 in 5.4 seconds and the sport package will give the car monoforged 19in rims, sport tuned suspension, aluminum pedals, Sport brakes, Viscous Limited Slip Differential, etc.. This all added up to great performance, great traction and classic luxury Infiniti interior. The Mitsubishi Evo IX will give you the performance of the 2009 WRX but better. A 0-60 time of 4.7 sec, the legendary 2L turbocharged engine and road gripping Mitsubishi AWD. The Evo's rally heritage really shows but the only problem is the interior. in almost every comparison, the Evo has one, Evo IX vs WRX STi or the Evo X vs WRX STi. However in snow conditions the Subaru beat the Mitsubishi. Surprisingly there are a lot of cars that may suit you. With a budget like yours you should be able to buy a new car that will give you good performance or a used car that will give you great performance. I have the luck of deciding between two cars. They are both free to me, so cost is not an issue. I know that the Volvo is a better car to start with, but is it better with so many miles on it?

Both are in comparable physical condition.

The Volvo has an engine in it that only has 70,000 miles on it because it was in an accident in 2004.

The bug is a base model and has had very little work done to it. I had to put $3,000.00 into it earlier this year for a fuel problem and spark plugs. I took it to the dealer in Charlotte and I am pretty sure that they ripped me off.

I would prefer the Volvo because it is a luxury car and has heated seats, a sun roof, CD player, and cruise control. The bug does not have any of this stuff.

What car do you think I should keep?

Please let me know if you need additional detail.

Answer
i've worked with both dealerships in service, they are both safe cars different feel of ride on road. volvos are very much like a truck feel all road.
they both can be high maintenance vehicles but u just dropped 3grand so i'd say keep the vdub. besides u just had the timing belt changed and waterpump and all the belts plus whatever you originally sent it in for.
your dub is running optimal right now and no other problems or concerns were found or you would no. sooo... save the dough cuz u just spent sum.
and volvo service is even more costly..

Answer
A Volvo, when properly cared for, will get you through hundreds of thousands of miles. I've heard of some of them getting upwards of 400,000 miles. My father currently has a 2001 S80 with 200,000. I just got my '05 S40 with about 40,000 six months ago, so I can't say how well the S40 holds up, but so far I've had no problems.

A Beetle is going to have many more quirky problems. I've owned a VW ('95 Jetta) and can tell you from experience it get to be the biggest pain to fix the same things repeatedly (like the fuel pump three times in three years.)

I have no idea what the guy who said Volvo is folding is talking about. Yes, all car companies are having problems, but Volvo is not going under.

I am going to buy my first car but i need help. i have been searchign for good cars but it seems they want to much or theres to large of a flaw. I am a person who would like a safe sports car. hard to belive i know. A 2005 mustang passed the tests but is there others?

Answer
well here's the deal. when the economy took a dive everyone decided that they were no longer gonna be able to buy a new car so every one went out too look for one used. this in tern drove the prices for used cars threw the roof. so unfortunately you may find it difficult to find what your looking for in that price range. there are lots in many states that have only have used cars for under $10,000. your best bet would be to Google a lot for your area and check out what they have to offer.

In an insurance policy, is a Ford Mustang qualified as sports car or coupe?

Pumas Fan

A 2005-2010 Mustang. I'm and eighteen year old, first time driver. I know insurance is going to be expensive but I heard somewhere that a mustang wasn't qualified as a sports car because of the two seats in the back, and that Ford made the Mustang a four seater for this reason. Also how expensive would it be? I live in Colorado.

Answer
My boyfriend has a 2004 Ford mustang and I believe his car is a coupe (not positive though). It was also his first car and he got it when he was 19. His insurance was almost $200 monthly, but he wasn't under his parent's insurance. We live in California.

What is the difference between drag racing and drift racing?

I wanted to know what the difference those two are?

Answer
Drag racing is when to cars side by, side, race from a standing
start in a straight line, usually for a distance if a quarter mile..
The fastest reach speeds of over 300 mph (about 480 kph), and
can cover a quarter mile from a standing stop, in 4.5 seconds..

Drift racing is done by front, or rear drive sports cars, and sport
sedans.. It's done on courses that can be in a stadium, or a large
parking lot.. The course is marked using pylons (rubber cones), or
other soft objects, and the cars run two at a time, racing each other
through the turn.. They throw the cars into the turns in a manor that
causes them to slide, often side, by side, as in a ballet, while racing..
The drivers are trying to beat each other to the finish, but they are
also judged on the style of the sidewards DRIFTS while turning, with deductions for hitting obstacles..

Please pardon the rudeness of some of these folks.. They they think
it's a prerequisite for being an F1 fan.. But I can assure you, that people like that are not representative of any real race fan..

Why do rifles and handguns of the same caliber differ in muzzle velocity?

Q. For instance, if you take your walther p-22 and put some cci mini mags in in, you'll get a lower muzzle velocity out of it than when you put those same mini mags in a 10/22. Why is that?

Answer
As the powder burns it builds up pressure behind the bullet which is what pushes the bullet forward.

As soon as the bullet gets to the end of the barrel that pressure can escape in all directions so it no longer pushes the bullet and therefore the bullet does not accelerate any more.

A longer barrel traps that pressure behind the bullet for a longer period of time which allows more time for that pressure to push on the bullet and cause it to accelerate.

Imagine if you took a high powered sports car to a racetrack. On your first run you floor it for the first quarter mile of track and measure the speed. On your 2nd run you floor it for the first half mile of track - you would expect a much higher speed after a half mile of acceleration. Same concept works with bullets traveling down the barrel of a firearm: longer barrel allows more time for acceleration and therefore higher velocity.

is Subaru BRZ 2013 good for snow weather?

Newbie

I live in Nebraska and am planning to buy a sports car within 28k. I really like the subaru BRZ. But is it a good car to drive around in snow? I live in Nebraska where it snows quite a bit..Or would you suggest something else?

Answer
The vehicle doesn't matter. What matters is:
1. Where the power goes to - front tires, rear tires, or 4 wheels.
2. Which tire the car is wearing.

4 wheel drive cars are generally better on snow, but the tires are the most important part. Make sure to buy good snow tires from any well-known brand such as Bridgestone or Michelin, drive carefully and you'll be just fine.
The Subaru BRZ is an amazingly entertaining car - you will enjoy it.

Which used cars should I avoid buying as a young teenager?

No, I'm not the same person posting this same question. I'm doing this just so that everyone can answer quickly. I have to go to sleep now because I have school tomorrow, so answer this question and then I'll take a took at them by tomorrow.

Here are the top 10 used cars to avoid. Avoid and do not fall in love with used cars that is unreliable to use, high fuel consumption, and high maintenance. You can buy one of these cars in a real cheap price but you may end up spend more on gas, maintenance, and pay a lot for labor. Therefore, choose properly before you made your decision to buy any new or used cars.

10. Used cars without a certificate
There are a lot of used cars that will not pass smog, but that's only for people who only know a little bit about cars, not for those who sell cars for a living.

9. Brand new cars
Avoid any 2012 or a 2013 vehicle because you might pay the right value plus tax to purchase the car, and then sell at at a very high or very low price. It would be better to buy a lightweight, Japanese family car made in the early 90's, since they're more reliable than a newer one.

8. Vehicles 25 years or older that have been driven at extremely high miles
A vintage or antique vehicle that is driven everyday with extremely high miles should be avoided.

7. Exotic or fast cars
There are some Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsche, Corvettes, and other cute sports cars always garaged and covered by personal collector, and driven while the weather is clear. These cars may not meet emission and safety standards and should be avoided, with the exception of older Bentley and Rolls-Royce.

6. Avoid a Smart car because it is too small and ugly

5. Avoid race cars
Stock cars, Formula 1 cars, and Go-karts aren't legal for driving on the roads, even if it's legally modified to do so. These cars still have trouble passing emission and safety standards as well.

4. Police cars, taxi cabs, fleet cars, buses, etc.
Police cars, taxi cabs, fleet cars, buses, or some cars that you know it has been heavily used and been driven for long hours over thousands of miles. It is not worth to take the risk to buy these cars although the price may be very attractive.

3. Avoid used commercial cars
Commercial cars, trucks, and minibus that have been driven a lot everyday need to be avoid. This is because these cars are usually driven by people who do not own them and they will not care the car.

2. Uber-low-price fake cars
Never ever buy a used, clean, pretty car (often a new or exotic car) that's unbelievably priced too low. These owners want you to email them instead of call. Well, what happens if you try email him/her? They'll email back to you and tell you thanks for being interested in their car, and the shipping process to Canada or Latin America will take about 3-4 days. But still, the car will never be shipped over there, so it's a scam.

1. Avoid Hummers
These trucks are even worse on gas than the Bugatti Veyron, Range Rover, Porsche Cayenne, Chevy Suburban, and the Ford Econoline. No Hummers in our house, please! Thank you!

This truck should be avoided: http://i48.tinypic.com/2lv0it4.jpg

Last, but NOT least... avoid cheap, small and ugly cars that were imported to the U.S. or Canada from another country by non-professional, such as a Daewoo, a Ford Festiva, a Ford Ka, a Peugeot 106, an AMC Pacer, and the Geo Metro:

If you want a really small and slow car, then go for a Fiat 500 or a Mini Cooper, not a Smart car or other slow, small and ugly cars!

Answer
The price of gas is high, but that car...you just...can't...get it...out of...your head! THE MADNESS! If visions of your own ride are just too overpowering, take a peek at your bank account before looking at available cars. Gas. Insurance. Maintenance. Cleaning. And oh, those fender benders⦠Texting while driving is just way expensive. Before stepping foot on a dealer's lot, make absolutely sure that you know exactly how much you can pay for a car, whether your parents will help you with the purchase (and by how much), when and where you'll be able to drive the car and who will pay for gas, insurance, repairs and maintenance. Whenever a young buyer doesn't know the absolute max they can spend, a car salesman gets his wings... and too much of that buyerâs cash. Being fuzzy on your real budget gives the seller the opportunity to jack up the price, hoping that you'll reach deeper into your pockets. They are sharks. You are salmon. Get the picture.
