What is the difference between the Sims3 games?

What is the difference between the Sims3 and the Sims3 Collectors Edition? I am about to go pick up the game and unsure which game I should buy!

Here is what the collecter edition includes...

â¢The Sims 3 game (duh!)
â¢An exclusive European Sports Car download (nice to have, but not a necessity)
â¢The Sims 3 theme music (not really that important)
â¢Prima Tips & Hints Guide (this is like a smaller version of the regular Prima Game Guide - so this is actually a very cool edition)
â¢and the exclusive 2 GB Plumbob USB drive. << This is the reason you'd really consider getting the Collectors Edition over the regular version because the extra cost is actually around the same price as getting a 2 GB USB drive anyway. And this USB drive is very ultra cool. A very nice accessory for any Sims fan.
Now the USB drive won't actually change your game in anyway (it's just a cool shaped accessory to store your stuff on) but if you need a new USB drive anyway, it's worth considering.

What is the Difference Between the Collectors Edition of Sims 3 and The Regular?

I was wondering what the difference is between the collectors edition of the Sims3 and the regular one? There is a 20 dollar difference in the amount one must pay to receive the collectors edition. Why is that? I love The sims games and am wondering whether it is worth the money.

Also is the game coming out March 2nd or June 6th?
