sports cars under 10000 image

I am looking to buy a car that is under $10000 that looks good for a teenage guy that wants a sports car look but doesn't want the insurance bill. I want something that just looks good that is good and is reliable. Also take into consideration that I am very tall so I need the leg room.

Consider the 1999-2002 Honda Accord Coupe. It was, and still is, a good looking car, it is a Honda which means it will last, and the price will be decent here in 2009. The only thing is - is that it only has 200hp, which was good at the time, but today is something more of a joke. That said, if you want more power it is a Honda so you can buy cheap power by way of a turbo, etc. Another option from that time is also the last generation Honda Prelude which still looks amazing but has the same HP issue.
Alternatively, the Subaru WRX was released around that time so look into those. However, personal opinion... the first generation WRX with those circular headlights were ugly as sin. The Maxima from the same time was mentioned, at that series came with 258hp so it will be rather quick and it still looks decent.

What is a good sports car under 10000$?

I am 19 years old and i am looking for a fast car. Before you tell me i am to young for a fast car, i been driving since i was 12, i lived mexico for a while. So with that in mind, am looking for reliable, fast car under 10000 dollars.Oh, and if possible v4, or even V6. NO V8 OR mustangs.

Go on Craigslist and get yourself a 3000gt, very nice looking and sounding cars. Best Model for speed is the VR-4 in NA or you can import a 94' GTO straight from Japan :)
Only downside is that its a little heavier but its safer to drive since its not that plastic crap that most cars are made out of now adays. If you want it lighter just remove some stuff and change the exterior to carbon fiber.
