There is no 100% definition of a sports car. But the Celica would be considered more of a sports car by more people than most cars.

If you look at the 2007 line up there is no sports cars plus there are none to my knowledge in the near future. Am I wrong? And I don't count Lexus
Answer
New cars: toyota does not have a line of sport cars.
Correction: neither the celica nor the spyder are for sale anymore, they are out of production, because of Scion line up, toyota does not make sport cars anymore.
Why the spyder is not for sale anymore?
To heavy, expensive, and insurance is way high for any age, and because toyota did not reach enough sales after its production.
what did happen to celica?
Ask the Scion guys why.
