why do parents name their kids after cars or states?
well poopie kitty--- im glad u picked felix and leah lol. it could have been worse.haha j/k
Answer
Well there's certain states and places worldwide which are also peoples' names or were actually originally named after people to begin with. Georgia (King George), Alexandria (Alexander), Lincoln (Abraham Lincoln), Raleigh I believe is a person's name, as is Charlotte. Athens is named for the goddess Athena, and while Athena makes a good name, Athens, not so much. I agree with you on names like Nashville or California though, those names have no business on babies.
Cars I'm all with you there too. Little boys named Royce and little girls named Mercedes (or better yet, Mersaedeys!) are going to be a total jerk and a stripper, respectively. I generally try not to stereotype peoples' future based on their name, after all I'm a total disproof that names determine what you'll be, but there are only a hand full of people who are douchy enough to name their child after a luxury car, and douchiness is usually passed on. I think they do it in the desperate attempt to make them look like they're upper class, which usually has the opposite effect, because I've never seen or heard of any kid from real wealth called anything like Mercedes, or Benz, or Royce.

Tammy Wynette, who was famous for "Stand by Your Man," had how many husbands?
Austin W
Answer
not as many as Liz Taylor
Aside from her music, Wynette's private life was as tumultuous as many of her songs. Over the course of her life, she had five husbands: Euple Byrd (married 1959âdivorced 1966); Don Chapel (married 1967âannulled 1968); George Jones (married 1969âdivorced 1975); Michael Tomlin (married 1976âannulled 1976); and George Richey (married 1978âher death 1998).
She and Byrd had three children, Gwendolyn Lee ("Gwen") Byrd (born 1961), Jacquelyn Faye ("Jackie") Byrd (born 1962) and Tina Denise Byrd (born 1965), and she and Jones had one child, Tamala Georgette Jones (born 1970).
Tammy had a publicized relationship with actor Burt Reynolds in the 1970s. Her fourth marriage, to Michael Tomlin, lasted only six weeks. She then married George Richey, who became her manager. In 1978, she was mysteriously abducted by a masked man at a Nashville shopping center, driven 80 miles south in her luxury car, beaten and released. No one was ever arrested or identified. Initially, that was the story told to the press by Tammy. Years later, Tammy's daughter, Jackie Daly, alleges that Tammy told her that the kidnapping was a fabricated incident to disguise the fact that George Richey was beating her.
She also had a number of serious physical ailments beginning in the 1970s, including operations on her gall bladder, kidney and on the nodules on her throat.
