its also pretty difficult to discover the models on such old cars

Cadillac was at it's stylish peak in the mid to late 50 through the late 60s. By the 70's Cadillac was still the top of the line luxury car brand in the USA but there mid 70s cars were not nearly as stylish as they were back when they where huge chromed out land barges.
Cadillac models in the 60s went by numbers. The Series 62, 63, 64, and 75. They were eventually renamed the Deville which came in Coupe and Sedan versions and the Fleetwood which was the largest four door sedan. The Eldorado was the "sporty" 2 door model that also came as a convertivle version. The Cadillac Eldorado was the first front wheel drive car manufactured in America.
