my dad said that if i get a college scholarship he would buy me a car, so im looking for a not so expensive one that is sleek and i will enjoy.

It all depends what class of car your in search for, is it Luxury? Sport? Mid-class? Sedan? Coupe or a Crossover???????? Considering the fact you are in high school I presume, and you are just now applying for a college scholar ship I would suggest a variety of cars but it all narrows down to what your looking for. Personally I'm into luxury vehicles but for many teenagers a 2009-2010 Mustang, Camaro or Challenger will do the trick. Seeing that fact your price range is just under $30,000 the only New luxury vehicles I would be able to refer you to would be a 2009 Acura TSX which is a conventional luxury sedan that prices just under 30,000 and to be exact it begins at a base price of $29,310. Acura is not necessarily the top dogs of the luxury car market, in fact many people seem to consider Acura any other premium Toyota or Hyundai on the road. Acura still has way to much to prove if they want to compete against the big boys which include BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, Benz and Audi. Nevertheless the Acura is still a good way to start in the luxury car market. The Acura TSX produces a shameful 201 HP when compared to its rivals the BMW 3 series, Lexus IS, Infiniti G37 and the Audi A4 which produces a lot more HP at a Base trim level. Another New vehicle that prices just under 30K would be BMW's smaller coupe, the 128i coupe which has a base price of $29,150. The BMW 128i outputs 230 HP which considerably faster then the Acura TSX. Although you may get more "bang for your buck" in the Acura, the BMW will state class and success over the infamous TSX.
If your in the market for a Used luxury car I can assure you that you will find loads of 2 year old entry class sedans such as a BMW 328i, Infiniti G35, Mercedes C class, Lexus Is250 or an Audi A4 that will cost just under 30K used.

Why is Obama desperately trying to end tax cuts for the rich?

Tax cuts are not meant to be rewards they are meant to revitalize our economy. Those who would be affected by tax cuts have enough money that even if they were taxed 80% they could easily slide by in life with relatively little change in lifestyle. The theory that supports tax cuts is the trickle down but it has been disproven. The rich get more money but in order for them to spend it all they would need to simply buy soo much that they would be overwhelmed. People who make a million dollars would have to spend 100s of dollars an hour every hour of a day every day of a year. People dont buy a car or luxury item a day or a week that would be too much so it impossible for the rich to fully put all that money they get from tax cuts back inot the system and when they do it generally goes into the hands of other rich people rather than middle class meaning that the rich people stay high up and the lower classes decline sharply. Giving tax cuts to the middle class instead of rich is more efficient because less people lose and rich people have so much money taking a little extra doesn't hurt. Also if a middle class person makes 50000 a year and gets to keep 35000 of it personally they can spend a hundred dollars a day much more easily than someone can spend 2400 dollars a day.
