I am 17 years old and im looking for my first car. I want a car with good gas mileage and a good price.
Answer
For a girl, both cars are fine. But I'm sure you can find nicer cars in your price range. By my observation you live in Georgia so Ive found some luxury cars that you might be paying the same for as the Mustang or the Solara. I'm assuming your price range is $16,000- 17,000 by the price tag of the cars you have shown us so here's a few, hope this helps or at least gives you new ideas.

Car rental question.?
Noelle
I am going to Panama City beach on Friday morning and will be retuning on Sunday I am coming from Atlanta Georgia . I would like to rent a car so I got on Hotwire and found a car for like $85 for everything plus the insurance however I don't have a credit card so I saw the debit card option and was going to pay wih that. So my question is how exactly does the debit card option work. Thank you
Answer
Here are a few things you should expect at most rental agencies when using a debit card. The biggest one perhaps is the need of a deposit.
Logo requirements. While many rental car companies accept debit cards, many also require that the cards have a Visa or MasterCard logo.
Expect a credit check. Some companies will perform a debit card check and credit inquiry to ensure that you have the proper funds. (Keep in mind, credit inquiries show up on your credit report, and too many inquiries can actually lower your credit score.)
Be patient. The process of paying with a debit card will likely be a longer one. It takes time to check your credit and insurance, verify your ID, etc.
Prepare to pay a deposit. Often times, rental car companies place a hold on the account linked to your card. Itâs basically a deposit that theyâll hold until you return the vehicle. These deposits can be $200 or more.
Limited choice. No credit card often means you lose the option of renting luxury cars, SUVs or other specialty vehicles.
