is CORVETTE the sexxiest AMERICAN SPORTS CAR?

BRobb

if not, i'd like to know which car is, and why you think so.

Answer
I own a vette. It is a great sports car...405 hp (plus a little boost from an after market exhaust system and air intake.) It is quick and fast while getting great gas mileage...particularly on the highway in 6th gear. It is as advertised...a performance car. Therefore, not as comfortable and quiet as some other cars. But, for the price, it is the best (and to my way of thinking, the sexxiest) American sports car. The Ford GT40 is its only competitor. But, it costs several times as much. The Dodge Viper is sexy looking but not a daily driver by any stretch and at a cost of about twice the vette.

Nissan Maxima for a first car?

Nissan maxima for a first car?
Hello, I'm planning on buying my first car in August. After finally giving up on trying to buy sports cars, I've settled down with the choice of the 6th gen (2004-2008) Nissan Maxima.

My budget is $8000 (I know mileage on the car will be high)

I plan on replacing the engine and tranny on whichever one I get, so that's not too much of a problem for me.

I want to know if these cars are reliable and good on gas.

One guy said he'd give me his for $6000. He said he replaced the engine, it has a warranty, along with the alternator, radiator, brakes, and axles.

Is it worth it?

Thanks.

Answer
They are very reliable cars.

But gas mileage, not so great. They require premium gas of 91 octane or better. This is basically the same engine found in the Nissan 350z, Infiniti G35, Infiniti M35, and Infiniti FX35.

It is powerful, quick, and reliable, but not the best on gas.

Looking for cars that has:

-fast
-reliable
-two door
-good handling
-great gas mileage
-decent/good mpg
-good looking
-able to add a spolier
-four seats

Any suggestions would be great. Looking for any type of fast reliable car under 7k, regardless of a few specs.

Answer
E36 m3.

High milage 350z nissan

2002 subaru wrx

If its your first sports car, you wont no the difference in handling from a ferrari to a toyota.

Get what appeals to you and learn to drive that car as hard as you can.

I got my e36 m3 at 18 already modded 360hp

I can tell you going from a regular 3 series to an m3 in 2 years i noticed the difference in the car. But if i started in the m3 i would know if it was better handling or not

My 2 cents

What car goes best with a big set of subs?

WI4ED

I'm lookin to buy a new car, hopefully one that will get decent gas mileage since gas is like $20 a gallon. That means I don't want like a hummer or Escalade, i was thinking more like civic, jetta, or corolla-ish thing. I think having my subs blasting in my tiny little sports car would be kinda weird lol, can anyone suggest a small, fuel efficeint car that would "feel right" with some big subs? Thanks.

Answer
Usually the tiny, little sports cars get the best "stock" sound out of them. By that I mean it takes little to no work to actually get great sounding bass out of them. But, you should really buy a car for it's safety features, mpg, etc. and not the sound imaging. You can always work with the car's interior to achieve better sound.

Good luck!
