how much would it cost to ship a 2007 BMW 7-Series to Nigeria from the DC area??

Some of the responses to this simple question are plain absurd and downright idiotic. The individual simply asked how much it costs to ship the vehicle and not your opinion.
For luxury vehicles of that category, I am not sure especially with import duty charges at Apapa or Tin Can Island ports. but I have noticed on many Nigerian forums some suggestions (especially from the DC Metro where many reside)
I could suggest some but for information integrity purposes, try and do an online search, focusing on the main companies before asking around. Word of mouth is usually the way to go.

A friend did suggest that it could cost almost $2000 to clear customs in Lagos. Whew...sounds a lot but as I said, you might get better information by asking people who ship cars to Nigeria.

PS. If you do not have full information on the buyer, be cautious and do a detailed check due to incidences of fraud in Nigeria. If you are simply shipping to a family member or for your personal use, I guess you are covered.
