luxury cars in dubai image
k
Hello,
I really do feel sad when I see those South Asian construction workers working out in firey heat. Are they all poor? Is it possible to have an Pakistani passport and live in luxury in Dubai with nice cars and a large house?
Answer
If a Pakistani is well educated and working in a higher position or own a well running business, of course it's possible to become wealthy in the UAE even as a Pakistani.
I don't know what you consider being rich but be assured that managers of e.g. Union Bank don't live in misery even when holding a Pakistani passport.
Why do you feel sorry for South Asians working out in the heat? Isn't it hot in their home country? Do they get a mid day brak there to avoid working during the hottest time of the day? Do they have provided health care? If yes, then why coming to the UAE? These blue collar workers come to the UAE to make a living which their own country can't provide. These workers are poor going by western standard but on the other hand they are able to support their families back home where living cost are one of the cheapest worldwide.
Everybody can become rich regardless of passport. But you need to have some knowledge/being sucsessful jobwise, have a great idea business wise of hit the lottery to become "rich".
People who never had the chance to receive proper education can be happy to end up as an unskilled worker in a foreign country to support his family.
Btw: there are rich Pakistanis in Pakistan itself who didn't need to leave Pakistan to get wealthy. http://www.theworldtoptens.com/top-10-richest-people-of-pakistan-2013/
