How much would a Lamborghini Miura cost me today?

I have always been fascinated by the 1968 Lamborghini Miura. I think it is the most beautiful car every manufactured and I have a dream of one day buying one. I have done some research on prices and I have seen anything from 100,000 to 350000 US dollars. Was wondering if anyone knew if this sounded right, from personal luxury car experience or any experience in the motoring world at all. Thanks a lot!

I have one of those in matchbox from back then, only paid $1 for it a couple of years ago. But im sure you could get the real thing for about 75,000 if you looked around on ebay or something.

Hello, I got bitten by a dog when in my childhood and my parents sued for $100,000, so when I turn 18 yrs. old I get the money, but only like $2,000 a month, so I wont be taxed hard. I am planning on buying a car , but I dont know what kind of car I should get and what kind of car I can afford. I really like sports cars, muscle and luxury cars too. Also SUV's and trucks..Thank you

If i was getting $2,000 a month, i'd go buy a lightly used G35 Sport Coupe. That money should cover your car payment, insurance and gas. But it really depends on how much of that money you actually want to spend. I like the G35 because it has the perfect balance of luxury and performance if you ask me.

Maserati. Maserati has just introduced a new model that will be competing directly against some other well-known luxury sports cars such as Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, and the BMW Z8.

How would you positioning strategy for the new Maserati model? What would you do to support and establish this positioning strategy? Keep in mind that although Maserati is as good as its competitors in terms of the car performance and design, it is a small company and it does not have the same amount of money for heavy promotions as its competitors.

It sounds like you are working on a business school case.

I would position Maserati as different, more elite than the competition. I would make it a scarce resource, with initially a long waiting list to get one. At the same time pricing is going to be comparable (within 10%) of the direct competitors.

You may want to create a specific image (possibly European) and focus on specific demographics, and create a promotional strategy that uses multiple media to introduce the concept. You may want to place the product in some select movies and maybe do what BMW did a few years ago, hiring well known directors to create a short starring the car. In this case you may want to use European directors or people (like Scorzese) who are viewed as Europeans.

A less expensive strategy might be to give a car to selected celebrities and makes sure there is PR coverage on them. Also YouTube may be an interesting promotional challenge.

My brother is graduating and my parents want to get him an awesome sports car, but their budget is $4500. They also want a car that we can sell back. I want to get him a coupe like a Honda Accord or an Acura or something. I need suggestions of companies.

you will not like this answer but get him just an everyday car nothing special so he learns to appreciate a vehicle . i have had friends that bought their kids cars like corvette and within a couple of months they are dead in a car accident ,sorry if it was not the answer you wanted but it is a true answer
